Grandpa's house we go!

Today was a lazy day, I visited my amazing grandpa! He's my favorite person in the world!! No, but really he is. Since I was hanging out at his house all day I decided to just throw on something comfy. A big sweater and some dark jeans. I usually only wear my sweaters baggy, not really sure why. And since my sweater was so big I threw on my fur because it is also freezing cold in Buffalo (like usual). Enjoy!

Bare legs for Winter

I feel a little, well a lot, like a senior citizen today. I think my mom got that in my head, she always says this coat is ugly and/or looks like a grandma's coat. Oh well! I really am not a fan of this dress, the print looks like I am a turkey but the fit and silhouette is to die for! And the combo of the hard black boots and "grandpa" coat goes well together (I think)! Enjoy!

A blonde Flashdance

I hope most of  you know the movie Flashdance, it is an amazing 80's movie with curly fro-like hair, spandex, huge sweaters, every bell and whistle that the 80's had to offer. I think I always resort to dressing like the 80's or 90's, it just comes very natural to me and today is no exception. I was running around like a maniac today ("She's a maniaccc maniiiiacc!!") haha but anyway, so spandex was the easiest thing to throw on. These Aldo boots are my go to, great heel size and can still conquer the world! I hope everyone has an awesome Thanksgiving and I hope to soon share some exciting new ventures I have planned!! Enjoy!

Manic Monday

Ya know everyone seems to hate Mondays, but I sort of love them. Every week you get a do-over. If you messed up your diet over the weekend (which I always do), didn't work out as much as you wanted the week before (guilty again), or just had a crappy last week. Whatever the case, you can start everything fresh again. Here is my Monday outfit so enjoy!

Sunday Bumday

Just another Sunday which calls for my converse sneakers. I don't wear flats ever, I own a few pairs just in case I ever get a grown up job but I despise them! I think it's because my style is more laid back and edgy, and flats are too preppy/put together. I love when other people can pull them off, but unfortunately they are not for me. Welp, I'm off  to grab some starbucks and sushi! Enjoy!

seven nation army couldn't hold me back

I swear I always buy some pieces that are pretty pricey thinking I will wear them forever and that they are "so cooollll!", but it is just the opposite for me. My most inexpensive items are the ones I get the most wear from and actually match with everything. Funny how that works right? This varsity jacket I bought at Papaya. For those who don't know this store is a cross between Charlotte Russe and Wet Seal, I'm not even sure if that description helps but it's not the best place to shop. Anyway, I found this jacket for about 20 bucks and was thrilled because I bought one at Urban Outfitters I didn't even like for 90 bucks. Stupid I know. My next cheap item are my army pants: Target baby! I live for Target, I think recently they have been stepping up their game and putting out some great finds!  Enjoy!

a bit of thug a bit of glam

Caution: I am not as miserable as I seem! Anywayyyy... I had my yearly excursion to Forever 21 the other day and bought a bunch of t shirts and this awesome skirt. I'm a little obsessed with it but of course the material is not that great. I'm not a peplum girl I always think that they are too girly for me but the leather touch is a perfect balance. Let me know what you think! Enjoy!

super woman

This might actually be my favorite outfit at the moment and probably describes my style best. Leather, men's sweatshirt, gladiator heels, and red lips. I am forever a fan of anything leather it is sort of why I live (just kidding), and i love a little "thug" element as I call it. I think most people might call it urban or street, not too sure though. Enjoy!

today is a clusterf@*k and so is my outfit :]

Today I have the song "just one of those days" by Monica that keeps replaying in my head over and over again. So along with my bizarre mood, I figured why not throw everything on my body which included a cluster of prints. This skirt is vintage from the shop in New Orleans Funky Monkey and its super cute and comfy. It almost looks like an apron but i'll take it! I never wear wedges because I am in constant fear that they make my legs look huge, i'll let you  be the judge of my legs in this post. Enjoy!
PS... my jacket does not go with this outfit (makes me look boxy) I realize that, but again it's just one of those days.

I feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman

When I was in New Orleans I went to the most amazing vintage shop called Funky Monkey, I wishhhhh there was something close to it in Buffalo! But I bought this dress because it fit me like a glove and its just cool, I love a good shoulder pad. The suede and leather is in excellent condition as well. The jacket I received at a consignment store here in Buffalo called Ritzy Rags. They have the most amazing fur and accessories. That's all for now! Enjoy!

viewer discretion is advised part two

Since there was not a lot of time to take individual photos of my outfits I resorted to mirror pictures so I apologize in advance! But if you want to see more of my trip go to my instagram account for the random photos (stellaflorence). Enjoy!
